Some people are just born hard-headed! Basketball keeps one on the move a only WHA fAe min . A spring day makes baseball a must. N.H.I-I.S. competes in the North Carolina AAA Confer- ence in golf, baseball. basket- ball, and football. Many con- ference championships denote the school's excellent participation. Bath a boys' and a girls' basket- ball tournament are held annual- ly on the intramural level. Both boys and girls also have tennis teams with the boys playing interscholastic matches and the girls engaging in intramural match play. Sportsmanship is an important aspect in any form of athletics. and for this reason good sports- manship is emphasized in all ac- tivities.
