The Varsity Football Team came out of the 1958 season with a very good record of six and one. This record must be credited to the hard work of Coach Gauld and the constant pressure of the second string on the first. This season would not have been such a success without the hard running and great passing ofthe backfield which was led by Plumb and Harrison. Equal credit for this season must be given to the rough and dependable line which was composed of Parisi, White, Captain Younger, Guardenier, Frost, and ends Crawford and Roy. 54 FOOTBALL WON Tilton Kimball Union Lawrence Cushing Dartmouth '62B Hebron LOST Brewster qi L- -n .1 L.1- :1- lla Front Row I. to R Mclntosh Fawcett WGf5IHSkl K Smith Hershlserg M Wllllams G Hlckln Herndon Second Row Bovalrd Boulter Harter Merrill Brewster J Huckln W Robinson Bray Coach A Hlckm CROSS COUNTRY The cross country team enloyed nts most successful season snnce It was started three years ago with a record of 4 wnns and 5 losses Under the leadership of Mr Hlckm the team overcame many obstacles on nts way through the season Roger Fawcett Jay Warsnnsku and Bull Robinson were the top scorers of the season The outlook for next year IS very good because of many returning under classmen who showed promise this year WON Tilton Lawrence Laconla Tnlton LOST Meredith Portsmouth St. Pauls Laconia M S WX, SM ' .
