The Bulldogs , with eight seniors on the squad, placed second in the Boonville Tournament, won the Glasgow Tournament, won our own tournament , tied for first in the conference, and placed second in the Regional Tournament held at Fayette. In doing this , the Bulldogs compiled one of the finest records that a New Franklin team has ever had--a record of 29 wins and 4 losses. Their merit was not only in winning ball games , but also in the way they conducted themselves and represented their school.
