LET TIGER SPIRIT SOAR Attendent to Prince, Aaron Hewson; Attendent to King, David Rettinger; Prince, Glenn Pladson; Mark Kilwein King; Queen, Sherry Nielsen; Prin- cess, Marlene Frank; Attendent to Queen, Darlene Binstock; Attendent to Princess, Kellye Lutz Homecoming week of 1982 was an exciting one. The girls started it out by defeating Golva 72-20. The excitement continued when they also defeated Reeder on Thursday with a score of 52-22. During the week students enjoyed different “dress up” days. Monday was hat and shades day, Tuesday was 50’s day. Wednesday was punk rock day, Thursday was dress up day, and Friday ended the week with orange and black day. One event that the whole school got involved in was the volleyball tournament. The faculty won it again by defeating the seniors Friday was the big day. The band lead the parade proudly and the seniors had the winning float entitled, Let Tiger Spirit Soar. The Hootenany was held in the afternoon with skits and cheers to fire up our football team. It was a beautiful night for a football game, and the Mighty Tigers played on a dry field, unlike many other games that were played in the mud. The game was most exciting with the Tigers defeating the Flasher Bulldogs 32-0. This left happy spirits for a good Homecoming Dance. 29
