Mr. Bellafiore, Principal RX Dear Graduates, Congratulations to you! You are the first class of the new decade, the 7O's, and you will set the pace for the ones who follow. I am happy that your editors have chosen as the themefor this edition of the Argo- naut THE CRUSADING SPIRIT OF YOUTH. As you know from Social Studies, the First Crusade was by the youngsters of Europe who sought to rescue the Holy Land. Your crusade nowadays will seek to rescue our own land from the problems at home and abroad. Centuries ago the crusaders were misled by unscrupulous leaders and failed in their purpose. We hope you will avoid their pitfalls by becoming more knowledge- able in your choice of leaders and banners to follow. Many of you have already taken your place as mature young per- sons by your willing involvement in student government, com- munity affairs, and gainful occupations. Keep this sense of self-reliance and responsibility, and continue to share with us whatever you are doing because we are really interested in your progress.
