Some of the Seniors will be going to college to further their education, some will work, and others will find something else to do with their future, but whatever they do achieve they're sure to deserve. Here for the last time together are the Seniors of 1976 waiting for that special moment to be awarded their diplomas and become ex-seniors of New Deal High School. The last mile . . .significant steps toward a life's fulfillment... climaxing a delicate balance of extra curricular and academic pursuits. . . to be reenacted in other places. . . other times. 1976 Valedictorian, julia Kueton, gives a heart-warming speech to the Class of 1976 The Senior Class of 1976. Gradaarlbn 'l The commencement exercises began with the invocation given by Clark Agnew, President of the Senior Class. As the Salutatorian ljoanna Harkeyl of the graduating class speaks, it marks the ending of a life span and the beginning of another. The honors of the Highest Ran king Boy went to Ronald Flinn. 24 The 1976 graduates of New Deal High had much success and happiness in making it to the place they are now in life. With these people and others, they had help and ambitious goals to strive for. The help of the faculty, the school board, and most of all the parents and friends really made the difference in making this class a good OFI6.
