61455 P!z'0PHf6'l' Being duly nominated and appointed by the Junior Class of 1957, We, the prophecy committee, switch- ed off our record players and jumped into our TIME machines. We were set for 1967 to look in on our own fellow classmates, the Seniors of 1957. We found them all hale and hearty. Glen Dean Price, desiring to play basketball, is now singing Sweet Georgia Brown with the Harlem Globe Trotters. Glena Phillips, an airline hostess, is still taking pills for air-sickness. Jo Dell Meyers, after a brilliant collegiate career on the hardwood floor, is now earning a living as a torch singer on the night club floor. Donald Williamson, inspired by his performance as Luigi in the Junior play, is now cooking ravioli by candlelight in Sal's Italian Kitchen. Dale Worthan now weighs 300 pounds, is happily married, and the most jestful cess pool cleaner-outer in Texas. After an intensive study of psychology, Beth Covey is now living with the monkeys in Africa. Clarence Ashmore, a farmer, is growing king size cotton trees, but he has his troubles, king size boll weevils. Mary Jane Judkins, secretary in I-lemphill's, is still fighting the Abernathy boys off with a brickbat. James Speer, farming in South America, was carried off by mosquitoes and lost for three days. Kay Bohall, ignoring the fact that girls have to slow down for the curves, is a quick change artist in a New York theatre. Man, What curves!!! John Ford, digging worms for a fishing resort, steers clear of licenses, he says that he's already been hooked on one. Nadine Thiel married a dairy farmer, and then found out that milk cows don't like Yank--ees. Carroll Teeter, now farming south of New Deal, is under the doctor's treatment for a sunburned tongue. Jonnie Looney claims that she was hooked, too. She doesn't like John's earthworms. After ten years in the dairy business, David Ainsworth claims it's not the Yanks, but the jerks that cows dislike. Sue Oldham, now modeling deep sea diver's suits, says that the electric eel gives her a charge. Arthur Brown and Ronald Cox are now prosperous undertakers. Arthur drives the ambulance while Ron- ald finishes off the half-dead victims to assure themselves of another body. Virginia Greenhill has purchased a monkey suit, and is begging Beth Covey to please come home. Larry Stephenson, being a true hot rodder at heart, now has the fastest John Deere in New Deal. Shirley Perkins and Kay Dunlop formed a duet and are now in big business. They are singing the Puri- na Hog Chow Song . Oink! ! ! ! ! Oink!! ! I! . We've traveled far afield, and now we come to our last unsuspecting character, Joe Ainsworth III. He is runningagambling casino in South America, is selling fermented coconut juice, and is really taking those monkeys for a cleaning. La
