On the steps the sophomores lay in waitg To be smeared with lipstick seemed our fate. Hut we were game and showed those guys That we could take it: we we1'e wise. We chose C. Wise to be our pres. Bearne, seeretaryg and Dot, Geib, treas. Un Hallowe'en we made our debut With a formal party and goblins, too, As sophomores bold we took our stand. O! We were the best class i11 the land. We eleeted Paul Neff to guide our sailing, And for vice-president we Chose Sis Railing. Again Bearne was voted sec. With Conner to keep our funds in eheek. Our party was held on St. Patriek's day. With the Toddlers to chase all our troubles away. XVe sta1'ted our junior year with a hang: Mudd and Railing leading our gang. Onee more Bearne the minutes took VVhile Geib took care of our big bank book. Top O' the World was the name ot' our play, The first musical comedy to rome our way. VVe held our prom on a bright May night, With Bud Codori to start us off right. At last we were senio1's. stately and tall. We now had reached the best class of all. Again as president C. Wise was seen, And for viee-pres. we ehose Janet Dean. Bearne again the minutes transcribed. The trea.surer's report was made by Dot, Geih. Our play was a Comedy, Cross My Heart. McCann and Brinton took the leading part.. Have you heard enough, or shall I state That on Tuesday night we'll graduate? As out into the world we pass We hope that all will remember our elass.
