The football team came up empty at Pitt and we dropped the ball on the 1 yard line? Jeanette was Miss Callahan’s experiment for the day! '83 Senior Candy Canes got initiated and sang the Alma Matar at Rapid Car Wash? Tom and Randy took pages from Mr. Jackson's magazines? Kim E. and Beth B. went to the wrestling match dressed as old women? Randy Smith got a flat tire when he ran over a toilet on Main Street? Tammy Bongivengo flooded a certain bus seat on the way to a basketball game? Barb, Jeanette, and Cristine got stopped by the cops for doing a Chinese fire drill in front of Strouss downtown? Someone mooned the last band bus? Regina was accused of feeling Mike Latsko’s leg? Pat Maxwell ‘Thought too Large and got cut short? The Accounting II class all got A's on a test and Mrs. Garvin didn’t count it ’cause she knew her class wasn't smart! Greg Campbell came to school? The girls in 5th lunch became Burger Queens ? Both the 9-10 and 11-12 teams consistenly placed first in their respective division at the County tournaments. At Slippery Rock in February, both teams earned the right to participate in National Competition in Georgia by placing first in their respective divisions in a field of teams from Lawrence, Butler and Mercer Counties. Along with the ninth graders came a new symbol. It has been changed to the official Weather Bureau symbol for the hurricane.
