THE AMERICAN SCENE In time of War, civil strife develops to a much greater extent than in any period of time. Here the home, the church, the school, all three of which may be called the nucleus of the American Way, play their part in promoting and teaching higher standards of environment in the American way of life. Each of us will take his place in some community. We hope that We may develop the home, the church, the school to a newer and higher degree so that our posterity may have more privileges than We enjoy now- those for which America fights today.
