Our day by day rush to and from school, classes, and club meetings, filled our every hour. As adventurous Trojans we found every minute varied and interesting. Even though we had plenty of routine assignments, we enjoyed our classes which often were spiced with humor and entertainment. Busy as we were we always had time to mingle with our friends and teachers and to welcome special guests who came to visit us within our crowded classrooms.

New courses were developed such as the special reading center which was intro- duced this year. Films, timed readings, and the Shadowscope aided freshmen, juniors, and seniors from English classes in compre- hension and reading rate. Results of the success of this class were the good reports from teachers and high Iowa test scores. All Nl-lS classes are planned especially for the future needs of each individual and range from subjects for every-day living to those on a higher and more scientific level -thus making us better citizens in our homes, school, and community. Discussing modern homes and better housing are Bruce Batch- field, Harrison Dalton, and Garnet Roseberry, housing students.
