Vxfe have our serious moments too, and Sundays find Anne jacobs, Doug Walls, Peggy Poole, and Bill Tallman attending the church of their choice. When school opened on September l6, we were forced to limit our outside ac- tivities to evenings and weekends, but we made the most of the fall weather by enjoying football games, wiener roasts, hayrides, parties, and club initiations. lt was November before we knew it and the first snow brought sledding parties and ice skating. Throughout the year we were always gathering at somebody's house for a chili or pizza party. lt didn't really matter what time of the year it wasg as long as we could get to- gether with our friends we always were sure to have a good time. Taking time out for some refreshment, laughter, and tele- vision while enjoying the fun of a double date are Hugh Pierson, Mike Murray, Vonda King, and Barbara Brandt, Ready to choose from the popular rock and roll and Calypso tunes are Steve Bond, Dave Carter, john Hay, Brenda Bradway, Sonny Miles, and Dwight Lockeridge. Rosy cheeked with the cold and well bundled for the weather and the ice skating fun are Anne jaccbs, joe Shirk, john Cleveland, Sharon Sanders, and Pat johnson. , I- itil N v :ZS Q Hwy. .,..'L14.Ltl5 Al. :L The blistering summer sun beating down on our town r yes the kids to the pool for a cooling dip and a Teenagers everywhere love summer when tennis, swimming, golf, and just relaxing are the fad. When not burning to a blister or baking to a gorgeous tan, we found time to appear at the local theatres, the the parks, and the drive-ins for ideal summer vacations. Some of us developed different interests through travel, part time jobs, or sum- mer clubs. When we got together at our favorite meeting places after vacation we found that our summers had been varied and full of good times, about which we were eager to tell our friends. Maybe that was why we were ready for school to begin in September. New classes mean new friends and we wanted to get started on another year of business and pleasure. Enjoying boating during the summer months :re a group of freshmen who are seeking the shade of the trees over- looking the lake at Memorial Park.
