School decisions orig- inate in this office, and students as well as teachers voice their opinions here. A casual atmosphere and friendliness dominates the office. There comes a time in every girl's life when she needs home economics training. Miss Guymon's home nursing class learns child care, ways of meeting the public, proper posture habits, and helpful physical exer- cises. Here, Mrs. Allen of the Kiddie Shop, displays clothing and other necessities for the younger set. Jerry Wilson and Ed Hoopingarner ihid- den behind the shieldl try their skill at arc welding. The boys are operating a vertical type Lincoln D.C. generator. Boys inter- ested in this vocational training learn twenty- is being run on a piece of steel. This ele- mentary skill is learned by all welding students. Kenny Tyner reports to his fellow class- mates in Mrs. Wayman's history class from the Senior Scholastic magazine. To entertain and show appreciation to their teachers, members of the SunShine Society served their annual Faculty Christmas Tea. Sixty faculty members responded. Here Mr. Elrod, Mrs. Rickert, Mrs. Powell, and Miss Webb pause at the serving table as Kathleen Gorman and Lucretia Johnson pour. Private! No Admittance!
