n. h. s. is making llofw f.E.'Q...,.g.+' JW I Ti 'mul num V Q SLMOR CLASS , 1 Trying to select their candidates are Jan Mahin, Hilda Hay, Gail Hern, Jenny Miller, and David Fleming. The Three R's prevailed in N.H.S. no matter how crowded we were, and besides learning our assignments from books, we also took maior steps toward growing up. Participating in vigorous campaigns, serving on election boards, and support- ing our favorite candidates for Student Council, Purdue Legislature, and class of- ficers acquainted us with the responsibili- ties of conscientious citizens. Such activities as E.l.B. Day and Career Day played an important part in creating friendly and understanding relationships between the students, faculty, and the members of the community, thus helping us realize that the school is a very im- portant part of our community.
