INFLUENCE OUR FUTURE A one-day holiday for all stu- dents and a very interesting day for the teachers was Business- lndustry-Education day sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. On October 5, teachers visited the industries of the city to be- come better acquainted with the system of American enterprise. Clarence Manion, former Dean of the Notre Dame Law School, spoke at the evening banquet. Mr. Richard Longenecker, dean of boys, and Miss Evelyn Rentch- ler, dean of girls, are two very busy persons in NHS. They sched- ule classes and listen to numer- ous problems of the students. T h e i r counseling is valuable whether students plan to attend college or begin their Iife's work. A T11 mtv-Thr
