College Guidance Day brought decision to many college-minded seniors when fifteen universities and colleges sent men and women to answer the questions of Henry County seniors. More detailed information on future occupations was given on Career Day where all students were counselled by business and industrial leaders of New Castle. Varying classes stimulated our minds as we worked together with our teachers and classmates. Students were eager to cooperate in a widely varied curriculum with classes designed to fit the needs of everyone. These classes taught us the need of cooperation to make any proiect a success. ln a musical quartet, one sour note could ruin a performance, the wrong combinations of chemicals could cause an explosion, or the wrong ingredients could ruin a cake. It took hours behind the scenes to design the sets, collect the costumes, and learn all the lines for the successful class play. Committees worked industriously to plan dances, banquets, and to sell the PHOENIX and i954 ROSENNIAL. In each group there was a leader who made the plans but it took many other followers Eight to carry the work to completion. Cooper- ation in this way made NHS classwork and activities outstanding and taught us we must always work together to be successful.
