Imagine what it'll do when we plug it in. 27 Under the guidance of its officers Kathy Blake, presi- dent, Gretchen Downey, vice- president, Gerry Dodd, sec- retary, George Casaday , treasurer, Neal Downey, re- porter, Marsha Hansen, his- torian, and its sponsor, Mr. Voorheis, the Science Club be - gan an active program for the year. Regular meetings were highlighted by the annual ini- tiation ceremony and demon- strations of projects by club members. The club enjoyed hearing informative lectures by several prominent guests. The high points of the year were the Second Annual Sci- ence Project Fair held at the school and several trips to other science fairs and scien- tific organizations.

HEALTH CAREERS CLUB This club adopted a new name and pro- gram at the start of the year. Aided by their sponsor, Miss Morton, and officers Barb Kolacz, president, Linda Brasseur, vice-president, Gerri Bauters, secre- tary, and Wanda Rowe, treasurer, the club enjoyed a series of speakers and films related to medical occupations. Highlights of the year included a tour of Memorial Hospital and ceremonies at which officers and new members were installed. TOP ROW--Jennie McClaran, Cathy Clapp, Kathy Blake, Susan Horvath, Bernadine Macias, Linda Kulwicki. STUDENT COUNCIL Student Council, the governing body of the school, carried on its usual ac- tivities of locker inspection, cheerlead- ing election, and counting the ballets for queens. Theyalso sponsored a sock hop and helped purchase records for the school . The officers for the year were Chip Baginski, president, Chuck Toth, vice- president, Ann O'Laughlin, secretary- treasurer.
