The Senior Girls’ Athletic Association and the annual awards night. has experienced a most enjoyable year. The officers for the 1962-63 G.A.A. One of the highlights of the year was when were: Rose Mary Van Laecke, President; the Club played interschool basketball and Sally Mack, Secretary; Bonnie Van Lue, volleyball. Treasurer; Pat Wilson and Nancy Nicode- Among the activities that kept G.A.A. mus, Point Recorders; and Miss Huns- active were a dance, G.A.A. Fun Night, berger, Sponsor. Not only are the °G.A.A. girls good at basketball, but they can alsodosome modern danc- ing. 22

HI-Y PROMOTES HOLIDAYS This year the Hi-Y, with Mr. Fike as their sponsor, kept active with their numerous projects. This year they main- tained the football scoreboard cover, provided the varsity basketball games. They also maintained the track score- board, and continued their an- nual projects of supplying the pencil machines. The officers for the year were Bob Johnson, president, Larry DeMeyer, vice-presi- dent, Jerry Szymanski, sec- retary, Bing Harding, treas- urer, Pat Higgins, chaplain, Clark Hensell, sergeant-at- arms, Rick Budney, Jr. Coun- cil representative. A strong wind might prove disastrous as these Hi-Y boys prepare the football scoreboard for winter.

Mrs. Schnick, their sponsor, made Sure that every game was played according to the rules. Diane Roesner, president, Evelyn Laureys, vice-presi- dent, Diane McNutt, secre- tary, Kitty Peterson, treas- urer, served as officers for this year. Everyone watches the basket to see if Kitty will make two points. 23
