Is there any one absent? Where have you heard that before? Probably when one of Mrs. Mason's office girls was coming around for the absent slip. This duty is only one of the many that she does for Mrs. Mason. There's filing, counting money, and saying a cheery Hello to visitors at school. Hey, what's cookin'? That's a line that the cooks hear everyday and what's cookin' we can always count on being appealing to the taste buds. Then comes the drudgery of washing dishes after three hundred students have finished their lunch. The cooks never complain, it's all in their line of duty of feed - ing hungry New Carlisle students. : Sweep, sweep, sweep, is the slogan of our janitors but sweeping isonly partof their job..
