Freshman Officers Walter Schuler Janice Davis Carolyn Brummitt Benny Bromley President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer The class of '59 started the year as a group of one hundred ten thoroughly confused, but enthusiastic freshm: To most of them high school seemed new and different, but after a few assignments and a class meeting the fre: men found high schoo! to be the same old routine. The freshmen sponsored several special parties to create a feeling of fellowship and get better acquainted w one another. After a few weeks of school the freshmen became a unit and began to consider each other classma instead of just friends. By sponsoring a Ring Toss at the Halloween Festival, a treasury to meet the financial needs of their junior a senior years, was started. At the end of the year the freshmen were still enthusiastic, not quite so confused, and still looking forward t wonderful high school career.
