Also, Julie McPherson and Bob Shively were selected to lead the fans in cheering. Some of us took honors in music -- Jack Shaw and Paul Spriggs were asked to olay over the W. H. 0. T. Broadcasting Station for the St. Joseph Council of the P.T.A. Christmas program. Т е team was unlucky losing four out of Six games. This may be because of the lack of practice and the fact that most of the boys had played American Lesion baseball during the summer and it was hard to change to softball. The battery was Jones pitching and Stickler catching. The regular infielders consisted of Е. Zielinski, J. Anderson, T. Taelman, а а L, Sebasty. Inthe outfield were В. Shively, С. Carbiener, and D. MacMillan. D. Stickler, L. Sebasty, F. Zielinski, and J. Anderson were the outstanding hitters and supplied the main scoring punch for the team. Т е boys аге much in debt to Coach Stoneburner, who gave so much time and energy into making а good softball team. Coach Паггу Stoneburner Coach Shaw, 4. Anderson, Mansfield, Millan, B. Ski, L. Seniors. Once green recruits, we have developed into a class that has furnished its share of leaders in athletios, dramatics, and scholarship. Our class has been cooperative; and as we look back on the years, we discover friendships that we will cherish always. N.C.H.S. has given them to us. Gratitude may be expressed to the faculty and sponsors during these last four years for their excellent guidance and cooperation. The many intimate contacts and associ- ations will serve as inspirations in the days to come. We wish to call attention to the fact that many hours have been spent in this Olive Branch. It holds many memories of our Alma Mater, Should any person find an error, let him think of the saying: To err is human; to forgive Divine. 52 [um „2 А | i di T ү du ў ү E i к А Oh
