Andy, Editor PERANNOS The 1959 Perannos staff returned from the two-day Columbia yearbook conference bursting with ideas. ln no time at all the highly organized business staff was in full swing selling ads and thousands of yearbooks. QWell, almost 500 copies were soldj. The rest of the staff started right in on the senior sec- tion. The photography staff efficiently scheduled the senior pictures and, almost before they knew it, the liter- ary staff was bogged down trying to locate lost activities sheets and changing quotes Cnobody, it seemed, liked his quotel. The weeks slipped by and the work load mounted. The editors became more and more haggard, but they could always force a smile and a word of cheer when they met in the halls. Slowly the work progressed in spite of the numerous setbacks lah, no, Hartford can't have lost another batch of pictureslj More and more meetings were called as the final layout took form. The deadline was drawing near and a general meeting was held to find out exactly where we stood. After all the reports had been made, our sponsors gave us a few encouraging words lyour deadline is two weeks from tomorrowl and sent us back to work with renewed vigor.
