SCHOOL BOARD PICKS BATTLE CREEK ARCHITECT At a special meeting of the Board of Education of the New Buffalo Area Schools Monday evening, the archi- tectural iirm of Guido A, Binda and Associates of Battle Creek, was selected as the school architect for the contemplated high school build- ing program, This architectural firm designed the Lakeshore High School, the Brandywine High School and the addition to the Bridgman High School. During the winter months the Board of Education interviewed eight architectural firms and visited ap- proximately l2 new high schools designed by these firms. A Citizen's Committee will be formed in the near future and a series of study meetings will be held. SCHOOL ELECTION TO FILL 2 VACANCIES The annual school election this year will be the second Monday in june instead of in july as held in previous years. By an act of the 1961 State Legislature, all school elections will now be held in june. School electors will vote to fill vacancies. The terms of Robt. 1d Clara Raz expire.
