JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL The Junior High, Seventh and Eighth Grade Teams, enjoyed another successful sea- son under the direction of Coach L. R. Scott and Mr. Nagy, assistant coach. The Eighth Grade Bisons finished in third place in the Conference, winning Eve and losing two games. The Eighth Grade also took third place in the Tournaments played at Baroda. The Seventh Grade Team won three and lost three games. With the usual school activities in which the Band participates, such as pep meetings and football games, it also must participate in the annual events of the Southwestern Michigan Band and Or- chestra Association. This year the Senior Band received a First Division Rating in the annual Marching Festival held at Benton Harbor. On March lst the Senior Band received a First Division Rating at the Band and Orchestra Festival held at White Pigeon. With this rating the Band is eligible to go on to the State Festival which will be held in East Lansing on April 13th. 52
