Therefore, although every graduating cllss member knows perhaps more about the year-book than even its editors, it is, nevertheless, imperative we announce that this is the l939 Beehive, and say a few words about it. - All of the graduates have learnedfin aiding us with the pen-sketches-what a brain-racking task compiling a ' write-up ' is, even for the closest of friends. CThe editors have had to write about virtual strangers on very meagre information but that's beside the pointj Though it may seem, at present, that we have either over-estimated or under- rated some of the class members, we feel that the true test of time will not Find us too erroneous. We anticipate that many a grad will glance, ten or even twenty years from today, through the Beehive at the write-ups, ' artistic decorations, and photographs with a glowing feeling of satisfaction and pride-a feeling which we hope prevails at the book's appearance. ln conclusion, it is only fitting to pay tribute to the incessant, untiring, thankless work of the business managers whose zealous efforts made the publication of a year- book possibleg as for the magnificent achievements of the Art Department-well, they expressed themselves eloquently. It would be a sacrilege to forget the eye-saving aid of the expert typists who were ever ready to type, found namely in the persons of Mary Aziz, Helen Lewitsky, Emily Neuhold, Irene Stewart, and others.
