P. Sturgeon Chapter of the National Honor Society has worked hard this past year to uphold the standards upon which membership is based. Some of the activities involved in were the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon, in which the eleven original charter members worked with Mr. 0. Pinion around-the-clock to help attribute to the success of the telethon. Also, a style show entitled “Winter in Review” was held at the Community Center. The young ladies of the chapter modeled fashions from Ann's. The Honor Society members also helped the City of New Boston in acquiring a block grant by conducting a survey of the citizens of New Boston. Members also helped serve lunch for the Walk-a thon participants held on Red River Army Depot. They also chose Student of the Month. The National Honor Society members enjoyed this year very much by working together for the betterment of our school and community. 101 NIKE Club 1st Row: Paula Rowe, Julie Fox, Karen Manor, Gen Green, Kelly Glasgow, Connie Ruff, Kelly Culpepper, Tern Terral, Shelia McCarter, Lisa Poe 2nd Row: Christy Durham, Cindy Crawford, Stacy Addington, Leofa Liggins, Michelle Ballew, Patty Horn, Beth Olson, Connie Fowler. 3rd Row: Kariene Johnson, Linda Crow, Tina Johnson, Rhona Baldwin, Linda Hurt, Tammy Caldwell 4th Row: Pam Stteb, Stepha- nie Mahone.
