Mrs. Casey, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. Doherty have devoted much of their time and energy to the seniors and their activities. Without their guidance, friendship, trust, leadership, and confidence, many senior activities wouldn't have succeeded. SPECIAL THANKS The senior class would also like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Mary Lou Mills for helping us make our first Junior-Senior Prom a success. Because of the time and effort she devoted to our prom we would like to recognize her in the 1980 annual. 14 Graduates Shari Mike Dwayne Jeffrey Kent ri Kimmi Rhonda CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1968, thirty six students began their long journey through school. We were the first class to begin our school years in kindergarten at New Bloomfield. Mrs. Toni Link was our teacher. Ten of the thirty-six students who started school then are now graduated from New Bloomfield. In May 1976, we graduated from the eighth grade. Ready for a new frontier, we moved with high anticipation into our freshman year with Mrs. Evans and Mr. Barber as sponsors. Our Sophomore year was exciting for most of us, and we were no longer the beginners. By this time, we had adapted to high school very well. Mr. Morehead and Mrs. Foley were our sophomore sponsors. One of the highlights of our junior year was giving the seniors a prom. The theme was A Time For Us , and everyone agreed it was a huge success. Every junior understands the excitement of getting a class ring; and we were no different. We wore ours with pride. Our junior play was Aunt Cathy's Cat, and it went off with a bang. We believe our senior year was the most exciting. Now, of course, WE were the seniors. Homecoming was a time to remember, with You Decorated My Life as the theme. Oh Promise Me was the senior play we presented. It was enjoyed immensely by both the participants and the audience. 1980 was another first; our school held a Sweetheart Dance. The Junior Class gave us a prom with the theme Sharing the Night Together. Our trip to Kansas City climaxed a busy, exciting, fun-filled year. A date to remember, our graduation was May 16, 1980. Now we begin a new road, a little sad, but most of all happy, that we have been prepared at New Bloomfield High School to face life's challenges. We the seniors of 1980 wish to thank our parents, teachers, and friends who helped in our education. We will miss you.
