IN MEMORIAM BOB KESSLER He came into your midst sort of quiet and shy. Then he settled and grew into a wonderful guy. He didn’t like friction. He didn't like strife. What he wanted most was joy and life. He didn’t mind hardship - that was part of life's game. For all to succeed - that was his aim, Always willing to help with a word or a prayer. If you were in trouble, he would be there To offer a hand or a word of advice. And when you got “riled, he'd caution Now be nice. He wasn’t an angel - he never claimed wings. But his heart was set on meaningful things. He liked to torment, he loved to tease, But ever and always he was eager to please. He was my youngest son, my pride and my joy. He was his father's one and only boy. His journey through life had only begun. There were many things left to be done. But nobody asked “Have you finished life's show? Death's angel came down and Bob had to go. From Bob Kessler's Mother

DEDICA TION The class of 1976 respectfully dedicates this Bicenten- nial Edition of the Beacon to its sponsors, Mrs. Rosemary Doyle and Mrs. Pat Suttles. Mrs. Doyle has been the history and social studies teacher at N.B.H.S. for the past 12 years. She will be moving to southeast Missouri this summer and will not return next year. Her unceasing service and guidance as a teacher and sponsor will be sorely missed. Our best wishes follow you, Mrs. Doyle. Mrs. Suttles teaches health, American History, and elementary P.E. She also coached the Wildcat girls' basket- ball team. Our senior trip and activities would not have been possible without her fund-raising ability. Mrs. Suttles will be coming back next year. It is with sincere thanks and appreciation for their tireless work and efforts that we, the Senior Class of 1976, dedicate this annual to them.
