Class sponsors: Mrs. Lambeth, The eleven that completed 12 years of school Mrs. Doyle. together at New Bloomfield. Class History It all began in the fall of 1957, when eighteen scared and vivacious first-graders en- rolled in the New Bloomfield School. Miss Jose Fleming guided us through that first year and ivas the one who started us toward our ultimate goal—a diploma. In 1965, thirty green freshmen began the journey through high school with our spon- sor, Mrs. Ann Stokes. Then in 1967, twenty-eight sophomores returned again to New Bloomfield with Mrs. Elaine Deiter as the class sponsor. Tune in on Terror was presented by fourteen juniors in 1968 and directed by our sponsor, Mrs. Rosemary Doyle. With the money we earned from the play, the juniors took the seniors to St. Louis for Junior-Senior Day. During the day we shopped down- town and in the evening we dined at the Forum and viewed Gone With the Wind . The year we had been looking forward to finally arrived. The class of 1969 had com- pleted our voyage with twenty-three graduating seniors. Mrs. Rosemary Doyle re- turned once again as our sponsor along with Mrs. Sharon Nelson, first semester, and Mrs. Virginia Lambeth, second semester. Each senior leaves New Bloomfield High with mixed emotions, but there will always be a feeling of sadness as each class mem- ber recalls the wonderful memories of New Bloomfield. The senior class play, The Scarlet Shadow , Hobo Day, Senior Day, and Graduation are only a few of the mem- orable events that will remind us of our high school days at New Bloomfield. There is also a feeling of happiness as we see the future ahead and all the possibilities of our dreams and plans coming true. In all sincerity, the class of 1969 would like to thank everyone—each parent, teacher, and schoolmate—who has aided us in obtaining this vital education.
