Senior Class Prophecy The prodigy of New Berlin Central School, alias the class of '52, wishes a prognostication of ten years hence - - thereby aiding each of them in their plans for the years ahead. To aid in this search of the future, theclass unanimously decided to borrowStanley Rolen's Future - O - Gram, a superlative invention which empowers persons to penetrate the veil of time and speed into the years beyond. There was only one thing, however, which the class could not decide upon - who should take this coveted journey? It is evident that only the most precocious, trustworthy, and scrupulous persons could set out on such a phenomenal excursion. Finally it was decided that Mr. Malcolm J. Hewitt and Mr. James E. Hartnett should be the chosen ones, so one day we pushed them aboard the Future - O - Gram and started them on their precarious expedition into the excursion beyond. To our bewilderment they returned shortly with appalling results . As we scrutinized the years ahead portrayed by the ambassadors of the universe, we find: Sarita Runion, touring Europe and South America is a famed concert pianist, loved by all. She ac - companied for David Page who gives recitals in his spare time. He is now an engineer of considerable fame. Virginia Liddle was found doing well in her career as a WAVE. She is now the commander of Speedy Enterprise. In a radio message given over the WALL network (owned and operated by Alan Wall) it was reported that Commander Liddle met her former classmate, Sam Sawyer, who is doing missionary work in foreign lands. Carol Angell is touring the world in her spare time offered by her teaching profession. Once she encountered Leslie Moore operating a dude ranch with his partner, Arthur Button. One of their steady visitors is Richard Stormes. who has been painting western scenes for The Open Road. Willard Hendrickson and Philip Fairchild have become successes in the field of farming. The former Miss Betty Cadwell has written several books on the subject and is assisted by first hand farm information. In a fashionable beauty salon in New York City, Nancy Spicer, even prettier than when occupied with N. B. C. S., is in charge of the coiffure department. Seated at the driers are two smart secretaries - Margaret Scribner and Josephine Norton. Both are working for the High School Trip to Mars, Inc. Miss Faye I. Spicer has become a successful doctor's assistant. She is now in Northern Europe attend - ing the Olympics and assisting the doctor with injured football players. Janet Button in the field of medi - cine operates a robot basketball team in her spare time. (The captain thus sits on her lap whenever she wishes). Her team has been given opposition only by Gene Johnson's Earth Roamers. Gene devotes most of his time to his home life. Mary Austin, art critic, interior decorator, and editor of Immaculate magazine has been quoted as saying Design your home for your life. Marvin Maxson is in the field of industry, making cyclotrons. He is the president of the firm, and works in the shop putting washers on pegs as he can do it faster than any of his workers. Gerald Huggins and James Hansen have gone in business for themselves. Their friend Raymond Wells does all their engi - neering work for them. His motto, It will be well done by Wells. Dorothy Whitmore is an exceptional organist and housewife. She is now in the ministerial work with her husband. Helen Coman, working as an efficient teacher in a centralized school, educates her pupils with advanced methods. Mr. Rolen was busy in his lab when the future found him. He became a pharmicist but in his spare time he is working on an apparatus known as the Past Machine which will enable him and his former classmates to retreat to those good'ole school days of yore.
