ASS PROPHECY - 1950 CL Good Morning, ladies and gentlemen! This is your swami, john Grinnell of the class of 1950, who will try to peer into h my crystal ball. I see a fast moving super-sonic a Looking around inside I sight some familiar faces-Loretta Janiak the class worrier- still wondering if we'll be on time, Ther- esa Sullivan - now a well loved social worker, t'Power and Welding Cole, co- owners of a Supersonic Garage and Eileen Marques, proprietor of the world renown- ed Madame Olga's Beauty Shoppe. Barbara Hathaway and Joanna DeLuz act as our very eliicient air-line hostesses. They see to it that we are comfortably seat- ed and happy. Our millionaire pilot, Ray Pepin, and his penniless co-pilot - the Ford man, Bruce Murdock, will see us, we to a safe journey's end. In a few seconds we land at Washington Municipal Airport, Washington, D. C. Here we pick up Jane Collis - loathe to leave her 1948 Lincoln. jane does private chauf- fering for such celebrities as Arnold Madei- ra, famous filibustering Senator from Mass- achusetts and Tubby Pacheco, of the Cros- ley Enterprises. Pacheco has just returned from the Capitol where he has unsuccess- fully tried to get up a petition for the en- larging of the Crosley. We see getting aboard such well-known sports figures as Charlie Crowell, Leo Doy- on, Wally Mis, and Rudy Bociek, all members of the unbeaten Schemers, Ping-Pong Championship Team. With them, just in case of a casualty, they have two nurses, Gerry Wolfe and Rhea Giguere. Whoa! Here comes Julio Fortes, galloping down the runway. He is still suffer- ing a few ill effects from his last boxing bout in which he won the world's paper- weight title. As we reach our destination, Miami, Florida, our pilots are all smiles because they have just completed their record hop. As we leave the plane we find Ernest Faulkner, Frank Gomes, Richard Oliver, and Charles Tillet working as members of ' - Oh my gosh! -- under the direction of Leonard Ellis. the g hope, round crew, working Fifty-five
