We, the members of the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Forty-Eight of the New Bedford Vocational High School of the City of New Bedford, the County of Bristol, and the Commonwealth of Massa- chusetts' being of sound mind and memory, do hereby solemnly make our last will and testament. We collectively and individually bequeath the following: To Mr. Mackintosh, we leave our sincere thanks for his wise counsel and unfailing help during our four years at Vocational. To the faculty, we leave our deep appreciation of their efforts to give us a clear outlook on life. To the Juniors we leave the prospect of enjoying their senior year as much as we did. To the Sophomores, we leave the privilege of becoming upper-class- men. To the Freshmen, we leave the privilege of obeying the laws of the school conscientiously. Tony Esperanca leaves the long ride from Dartmouth to Henry Gemme. Fred Roscow leaves Mr. Pittendreigh without a source of income. Anna Gilmette leaves her milk stand to a lucky senior girl. Larry Sylvia leaves his water-bucket to George Valley. Len Rocha leaves his parking space to Don Hinkly. Alice Laferriere leaves Pop Dufresne to his many admirers. Edwin Makara leaves while the going is good. Gwendolyn Gumbs leaves her job as Traffic-Chief to Carol Cunning- ham. Joseph DeCosta leaves a vacant chair in the Girls' Cafeteria. Betty Seifert leaves making sure Art goes with her. James Hollis leaves to become an admiral. Florence Kowalski leaves Miss Forrest minus a giggler.
