n« CELESTINO D. MACEDO Assistant Professor Professor Celestino D. Macedo has served as a faculty member of the New Bedford Institute of Technology since 1955. During these years his endeavors to help Tech students organize a good student government have made his name a by-word in student affairs. Prof. Macedo has served as faculty advisor for Tech Talk, the Student Council, and Nu Beta Tau Fra- ternity. As recognition of Professor Macedo ' s untiring efforts and contribu- tions to the New Bedford Institute of Technology and its students, it is with great respect and admiration that we, the Class of 1960, dedicate our yearbook, the Fabricator, to him.

X ? To the members of the Graduating Class: Every man ' s powers have relation to some kind of work; and whenever he finds that kind of work which he can do best — that to which his powers are best adapted — he finds that which will give him the best development, and that by which he can best build up, or make, his manhood. We of the Institute have tried to help you discover those powers. Real knowledge, like everything else of highest value, is not obtained easily. It must be worked for, studied for, thought for, and perhaps most important of all, it must be prayed for. Whether you succeed in life will depend upon how hard you have worked, studied, thought and prayed. The results of your efforts will play a very important part in the future of your Alma Mater. We depend upon your success in your every day life — a life which we are sure will reflect honor on those who guided your early foot steps. To each of you, the administration of the institute extends its sincere congratula- tions and best wishes for a happy and successful life. DR. JOHN E. FOSTER President
