Monday Morning Blues Monday morning what a drag! The day starts off terrible and gets worse as it goes on. The alarm sounds at 6am, and you find yourself pressing the snooze button at least two or three times. After a fifteen minute snooze you finally drag yourself out of bed and into the bathroom with your eyes still closed. Jumping into the shower you say to yourself, “I’m not ironing anything today!” While standing in the shower half-asleep you find yourself not doing anything but standing there. Finally you grab for the soap and wash up. Now you're out of the shower and getting dressed. Nothing you try on looks right, so you change your outfit about three times. Then you realize that it’s Monday morning, and you don’t care what you look like, and throw anything on! You've made it this far! Finally, you’re dressed. The fastest hair style possible is what you now at- tempt because it’s Monday — and you don’t care. Still yawning you throw a little makeup on your face, brush your teeth, look in the mirror and say, “I know I look terrible but like I said, it’s Monday and I don’t care!” Cussing about this and that on the way to school, you think to yourself, ““Hey!, at least I made it.” —-Contributing Senior Tracy Gomes LETTICIA Y.
