Iu Memoriam Omer Fredette entered New Bedford High as a sopho- more. He was with us a few months when an accident caused his tragic death. Omer was a fine boy with lots of personality, and liked by all who knew him. His training as a Sea Scout and as a member of the R. O. T. C. kindled in him the ambition to go to the Naval Academy at Annapolis. Omer was headed for a brilliant future, cut short by his untime- ly passing.
