AU MESSAGE, FROM OUR® PRINCIPAL The fifth class to be graduated from this school since the momentous event at Pearl Harbor started the greatest war in history finds the world still a long way from the peace and freedom to which we are all looking forward. Many members of this class are already doing their part in the work that will eventually secure this end; many more will follow them. Those of the class who cannot take an active part with the fighting forces will carry on to the best of their ability in the tasks that must be done on the home front. The individual members of this class have been aiding the war effort by investing one hundred percent in «the purchase of war stamps here in school. They will continue to carry on this patriotic effort in the days following graduation. Their efforts, whether in the past, present or future stamp the members of the class of January, 1944, as fine, loyal examples of real American youth. A. R. Dorman
