TITLE PAGE THE MAIN EVENTS of high school: NEW FRIENDS AND OLD FRIENDS NEW FRIENDS AND OLD FRIENDS Make new friends, but keep the old; Those are silver, these are gold. New-made friendships, like new wine. Age will mellow and refine. Friendships that have stood the test — Time and change — are surely best; Brow may wrinkle, hair grow gray. Friendship never knows decay. For 'mid old friends, tried and true. Once more we our youth renew. But old friends, alas! may die. New Friends must their place supply. Cherish friendship in your breast — New is good, but old is best; Make new friends, but keep the old; Those are silver, these are gold. DEDICATION The 1988 edition of VESPA is dedicated to the class of 1988 because even though there were many different personalities in the class, they were able to pull together as a class to overcome the crises that came upon them over the past four years. They worked very hard their Freshman and Sophomore years preparing for their Junior-Senior prom which turned out to be one of the best proms NACHS has held. Even when the class found out that they might possibly not have their pictures in color in the yearbook, they pulled together to raise the mon-ey. The one thing that really brought the class together was Neil Huntley's accident. Everyone was there for him, his family, and for each other. UPPER LEFT: The Senior Class of 1988 at their graduation.
