mguwfaf 's S x Mixed ernotions covered the senior class during Senior Week. Tears of both ioy and sorrow were shed. Seniors filed in to their seats for Class Day exercises on May 20. Seniors lived it up at the Class Day Picnic at Binford Park. The rain was unsuccessful in dampening Iivened spirits. reid'-I Seniors and parents were treated to a welcome coke F party after the Class Day activities. Senior class president Eddie Endres gave the senior farewell speech.

The beautifully dressed couples danced from 8:00 To l2:00 To The music of Frank Bluel and his band. AT ll:00 o'clock, Karen Umloreit was announced as The 59-60 Prom Queen, she was chosen from six other lovely candidates: Dottie DeLong, Jan Kirk, Lynn Stone, Phyllis Raney, Becky Brown, and Lucy Conner. At last! This is the big night! Some last minute alterations and she's ready to go. Her date is finally here!

Gathered together for their last official time, the 433 members of the Class of 1960 were charged by speaker Dean F. Berkley to take an active interest in world affairs and spoke of the changes that had occurred in the lifetime of seniors and of the changes to come in the future. Leading their class of 1133 students, these six, Nancy Nix, Judy Hale, Rona Garriott, Donald Cohn, Pat Bonifer and Jill Adams, attained a straight A average. The New Albany High School Concert Band and i Concert Choir entertained the graduation class and l - - guests at Commencement.
