journalists in th The Reporters Club was organized in the fall of i948 in order to give freshmen, sophomores, and juniors an opportunity to write for the high school newspaper. The purposes of the club are to develop the creative writing ability of those students inter- ested in collecting material and preparing it for publication in the Blotter, and to give members of the club an insight into the journalistic pro- fession. During club meetings, the members discussed and studied the various types and styles of stories found in the high school newspaper The main project of the club was the selling of official programs during the home football and basketball games This is a very important and worth while duty which was aptly performed by malong the members. Proceeds from program sales are used to send NAHS journalists to state and na- tional journalism conferences.
