And, for the most part, we have a somewhat difficult time in arriving at a definite answer to our question. NAHS is many things. First and foremost it is education, it is also people. It is events and play and work. NAHS is friendship, and it is the familiar coupled with the unexplored. Yes, NAHS is all these things, yet most important, perhaps, NAHS is us! Aside from its fundamentals such as classes, activities, and daily routine, NAHS is the little things that cause a lump in the throats of the graduating seniors and a swell in the chests of the underclassmen. The little things that have given out school its own place in our lives ....... the first day of high school ....... flood- lit NAHS on a big night ...... assemblies ..... our team ..... the reverberating tones of someone practicing on the organ long after the last bell ...... the cheer- ing sections ...... our own radio station. .... trips to the Annex ..... the march- ing band ...... early morning classes ....... lunch in the cafeteria ...... yellow admits ...... and so many little things that only we will remember. It is impossible for us to answer the question of what NAHS means to you, however, we have attempted in the 1950 Senior Blotter to record all the many elements of NAHS that you will , ,.
