Witli the l95O edition, The Senior Blotter marks its forty-fourth year of publication. It was first printed in IQIJ6 as the senior edition of the school newspaper. The Senior Blotter staffs were headed by Mar- garet Gohmann, editor, Richard Pennington, ad- vertising manager, and Robert Clayton, circulation manager. Wfith the dummy copy of the book, Margaret won first prize in the yearbook contest at the Indiana University Journalism Institute last summer. Robert, attending the same conference, learned how to sell it best to its public. Richard studied yearbook ad- vertising at the National Scholastic Press Association conference. Margaret, Miss Bobb, and Mr. johnson also attended the national conference. The yearbook was also represented at the Indiana High School Press Association meeting, and the But- ler University High School ,Iournalism Field Day.
