Zin ffflemnriam Born May S, 1862 Died February 6, 1936 HARRY A. BUERK After a long term of public service, as Superintendent of Schools, Professor Harry A. Buerk died February 6, 1936 at the age of 7 3. He was born in Paoli, Indiana, in 1862. In 1884 he graduated from Har' vard with highest honors. Professor Buerk was successful in several lines of work, but he is best known for his service in public schools and as the Father of Athletics of New Albany High School.
