Has Nevada High School been a golden opportunity to attain knowl- edge, or a mere place to spend your time through the cold, wintry months? To a casual observer this cannot readily be discerned. Your outward countenance may be identical with one who has studied diligently, but you yourself know. Down deep in your heart do you feel that you have done all in your power for the success of high school activities? Have you re- sponded to the splendid incentives to climb higher and to broaden intel- lectually, morally and physically? Take an inventory of yourself and try without prejudice actually to weigh your capabilities and ascertain the real value of Nevada High School to you. Many of us will be astounded at the meagreness of our efforts. At the time they seemed big achievements, but now, as we look back, they really were trivial. We only wish we had done more. After your high school days are over your opportunities to promote the welfare of Nevada Hi will not be entirely over, but few of us make the best of them after our high school days are completed. To the fortunate ones who will not yet graduate allow us to leave this bit of counsel. Do everything you can for the good of old N. H. S. so that you may not have a feeling of incompleteness as you go out of high school life forever. Our earnest desire is, that when your days in Nevada High School are no more, you may go with the satisfaction of a task well done. E. J. K. PgS
