Thespians' Stage Manager Points 0ut The HWELCOME! I'm Terry johnson, stage manager for the Thespians' play, OUR TOWN. Although I didn't know it until I opened my 1961 NEVAMO, I'm also the guide for this book. It took extra effort to keep the theme the traditional secret, especially after Mr. Carter announced that OUR TOWN was also the Thespians' choice. My job for the play was to present a picture of how we lived in Grovers' Corners, New Hampshireg my job here is to show you a year in N. H. S. and to point out the ties that bind a school to its town. This building, the VERNON COUNTY COURTHOUSE, is one of the landmarks in our town of Nevada, Missouri. They tell us that environment has a lot to do with what we are. If people a thousand years from now want to ' know the facts about us, they'll be right here in this book. FIRST, though, let me present the guest star of this production. . . 7
