Am SO PH OMO RES Q: new CLASS or 1959 The Sophomore Class has been very active this year. It has taken part in all of the sports, yell leading, glee, band, and some have held offices in clubs. The next ambition was to initiate the Freshmen and to have a dance that night. After drawing names, different stunts were thought of for them to do. The Freshmen really got initiated. with the initiation over, the Sophomore Class settled down enough to start studying again. The athletes were very active this year, with boys going out for football, basketball, baseball, and track. The girls also turned out for sports. Almost all of the girls went out for intramurals. They were fortunate to have 8 girls chosen for the basketball team. 20
