Directing Is ... The Board of Education brings their diverse knowledge and experience together to strive to maintain the highest possible standards of educa- tion for the school. Innumer- able hours were spent by the board members , as they con- centrated on meeting the chal- lenges of crowded classrooms and the constant pressures, local, state, and national, for more and better educational facilities. Undaunted by the setback of two defeats of the proposed bond issue, for a new grade school building, our adminis- tration continued to work dili- gently to meet each problem as it came, and to plan ahead for the best possible cirriculum that could be had under exist- ing conditions. The students appreciate their service and dedication. 1 School Board members- Front row- Gerald Eckels, Vice-President. Mary Grumbein, Ken- neth Schlegel Back row- Helen Floyd. Ernest E. McVicker.
