Juniors See Great Times The juniors looked forward to their third year at N.C.H.S as they planned for prom. The members kicked off the year by selling magazines for two weeks and also raised money through school activities. Many in the class chose to be involved in choir, band, and athletics. Some also prepared to take the ACT test and made inquiries into different career choices. This year they were invited to attend the career night at Scott City with the seniors. 1. Sophomores Behind the Scenes The sophomores took on various activities and the class did as expected in everything that they partici- pated in. Their big event of the year was buying their class rings, which were received the second week in No- vember. Many members were involved in FFA, FHA, Kayettes, Thespians, athletics, band and choir. The sophomores had a first this year — an evening of eating, dancing, and watching a movie in the school gym. They rented the movie, “Back to the Future,” and brought refreshments. Sponsors were Jerry Marshall and Michelle Graf. The class played a vital role in helping to cheer at ball games. Their year ended by serving at the prom. 1. Barbara Kerr does a typing assignment. 2. Looking at microscopic material in a microscope, Jason Whip- ple gains knowledge about algae. 3.
