Mrs. Opal Burdett — Opal served as secretary here at the high school for 16 months. After her high school days, she attended two years of business college. Opal has since moved on to become District Magistrate Judge where she still maintains contact with many high school students. “PnlHcl bil Mr. Terry L. Karlin — After high school in Haysville Mr. Karlin attended Fort Hays State University where he received his B.M.E. in 1970, his M.A. in 1974, and his E.D.S. in 1976. His post-graduate ex- perience includes, teaching instrumental music in Tribune from 1970-73, Band assistant at FHSU dur- ing the 1973-74 school year and the next school year was spent as principal at Wilson, Kan. Between 1975 and 1979 he served at the administrative assistant post at Hoisington High School. This com- pletes his second year at NCHS as principal and he will become superintendent of USD 303 next year. SecxctasUeA Mrs. Clara Rose Munsch — Clara Rose is our new, good-natured, good-humored secretary. She is becoming more educated now, or so she says. She has served as secretary and teacher's aide at the grade school before joining the staff at NCHS this second semester. 26
