Only soph- omores. juniors, and seniors are eligible for membership. A spring introduction service is held each year. Students are nominated to mem- bership by the faculty. A grade point of 3.3 out of 4.0 is necessary for further consideration. Upon nomination and having the required grade point average, the student is evaluated by the faculty to see if they feel the student has the qualities that National Honor Society exempli- fies. A composite average of at least 3.3 must be maintained in order to remain in the organization. Pictured to the left are Cindy Wiens. This year the Student Council headed by Warren Stecklein, Tim Wasinger, Laura Briand, and Tim Gerken, Sponsor, asked each organization to submit their consti- tutions so that Student Council could evaluate each group to see if they were actually performing the functions they were supposed to be performing. This investigation brought about at least one change in the organizations, as N-Club can verify. Student Council also per- formed their usual duties, such as keeping the activity board up to date as Warren Stecklein and Norma Sutton are shown doing on the above right, and keeping the pop and candy machines filled for the students, as Tim Wasinger and Mr. Gerken are shown doing on the imme- diate right.
