JuuuO'tS DodJttxdb Pag lOustl Kristi Meyeres, who, until this year, has been an active part of Ness City High, is still considered a class mem- ber by the Junior class, even though she is not currently enrolled at NCHS. Kristi lapsed into a coma after under- going brain surgery on July 26, 1976. Many, many long weeks went by with little or no change, but the Junior class members never gave up. They made a huge Christmas card and ban- ners for her. They sent momentos and visitors often to let her know they were behind her. Finally. Kristi is back in Ness City. Although she still has made no indication that she recognizes any- one . she is better and the entire school and staff joins the Junior class in con- tinued faith and hope that she will soon recover. Below are some classes that Juniors usually take, from the upper left-hand picture, clockwise, we see Mr. Vavricka helping Cindy Wiens with her project; Mrs. McLeish watches as the Junior girls create their latest fashions: Mrs. Floyd and Miss Herron help the Research class find what they are looking for; Mr. Reid lectures to the Government class about their rights. 16
